J.G. 26 for shooting down his first two enemy planes.

promotion document dated November 1944 for promotion to Oberfeldwebel,

and the award document for the Fighter Clasp in Bronze.

Czogalla flew the Bf 109G and was credited with shooting down a P-47 "Thunderbolt".

He was also wounded in action in combat against P-47s.

A fine set of documents to Oberfähnrich Karl-Otto Bühmann, fighter pilot with J.G. 53 ,

with the award document dated October 1943 for the Pilot's Badge, award document for the

Fighter Clasp in Bronze dated November 1944 and the award document for the

Wound Badge in Black dated February 1945.

Bühmann flew the Fw 190A-8 with Jagdgeschwader 11

He was shot down while attacking B-26 bombers over the marshalling yards at

Mayen but survived. Incuded are a photo of Bühmann and one of his crashed aircraft.

Jagdgeschwader Mölders. Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel Friedrich Caesar

originally served with JG77 and from 1941 with JG51 Mölders as a member of ground crew.

The Soldbuch shows awards for the KVK2 with Swords and the East Front Medal.

 

Most interesting and rare is the final entry which is a certification confirming

his entitlement to wear the Jagdgeschwader Mölders cufftitle.

The original Jagdgeschwader Mölders cufftitle is included.

Documents are for the War Merit Cross 2nd Class, as well as a

super-rare award document for the unit lapel badge. Even rarer

that the award is to a senior engineer (equivalent to Oberstleutnant),

responsible for keeping the aircraft repaired and in good flying condition.

Award documents for such squadron pins are almost impossible to find.

The unit in question is II/Jagdgeschwader 77, at that time flying the Bf109e.

 

Included is a super-rare lapel pin for this unit, in excellent condition

and maker marked for Lauer.
